October 14, 2025The airport has turned around for the better. Bryan the FBO manager is making things better every time I return. They refuel military helicopters during the weekdays. If you are parking overnight during the week take the spots that are by the windsock closest to the fuel trucks to avoid rotor wash when they park near the FBO. They do not have any tie down ropes in the ground because of the helicopters, just ask the office for tie down ropes. Fuel is operational and always stocked now.

October 12, 2025Beautiful airport. Good runway. Landed at dusk and everyone there was super helpful. Ron K, who I met at the fuel pump, insisted on me putting my folding wing Spirit SE-1 in his hangar with his airplane. FBO guys gave me a motel recommendation and ride to town. The next morning, ground fog kept me from departing and a wonderful couple, William and Susan P., took me to breakfast while I waited for the fog to burn off. Airports like this and people like this are why we fly!
