November 27, 2025Wow this airport finally got some care. They have totally redone it. New extended runway. 4000ft (ForeFlight is not updated yet take a few months) nice big clean bathrooms open 24/7. Also the airport managers phone number is wrong here. Use phone number +1 (704) 497-9824 for Mettea. She is wonderful. Very helpful. Also not listed is they have 100LL fuel truck and will have Jet A fuel soon. New truck on site. The personnel here was good to me as I had a large Icon A5 trailer to park onsite.

October 3, 2025The runway was repaved. Instead of being 3000 it is now 4000 feet. 55 feet wide. Fine ramp. New taxi ways. One of the hangers has been rebuilt. This is gonna be a wonderful place. Raleigh flying club is bringing several planes there as well

September 30, 2025I read a report saying the runway was totally resurfaced. I am planning on seeing it.
