Caution, up-valley/West end of runway is extremely rough with rocks/ruts/divits etc. multiple aircraft prop strikes in 2024 season.

Field is a bit rough but manageable. Good spot for a hike, we brought our dogs and they enjoyed it. There are several complimentary bicycles available and 2 separate campgrounds.

Runway has a lot of loose gravel as grass is not completely covering the whole length. Good hiking trails close by,but the greenery is overgrown in sections.
