Looks like their runway has been freshly paved! New markings, quite nice little airport. Excellent condition- 8/29/25

Camp Ozark will shuttle from here in the summer. Bigger planes like King Airs should be careful as there are tall trees at the approach end of 26. There is a ridge to the south which can cause winds to be erratic. The runway and ramp is in acceptable condition, there is grass growing in the cracks. The airport seems well kept for a family run operation. There are no crew cars but there is fine wi-fi. The fuel farm is easily reachable. It's a nice arrival but a white knuckle landing.

I decided to go to Bearce to watch the 2024 eclipse, as the weather was not cooperating in Texas. I am so glad I visited! It is a family run operation; everyone was very laid back, helpful and cordial. I just loved the atmosphere, and would certainly recommend this as a stop. I was flying a Cessna 340, and the strip was fine for me.
