we realized i needed a new inner tube that was available at a nearby airport. john had a flight lesson with a student and incredibly changed their lesson plan to fly to the airport, pick up the inner tube, fly it back to the mechanic at kendallville where my tire was fixed and i was on my way by 5 pm. it was incredibly kind and thoughtful service. i highly recommend this airport!

I landed with a flat tire and was instantly greeted by the airport manager, John, who right away started assisting me to get the tire inflated so we could move the plane. He also got on the phone to a mechanic and had somebody out there within an hour to work on fixing the tire. (Cont)
