The taxi lights are tall and the apron is narrow. I flew in with an RV-8. The tall lights surprised me but fortunately didn't impact. Heavy crosswind. The courtesy car was good and keys inside. Gate code in the lounge. Antonio's was fine food.

Stopped here for fuel. Fuel self serve and simple to access. No pilot lounge open but does have flush restrooms and the fire crew shared a bottle of water. There is also a courtesy car sitting there, keys in the visor and sign in sheet in car. On taxi out we had a flat tire on our RV 7. Called the numbers and found the second number got us to "Tom" and they sent out maintenance to help us remove the tire. Long story shortened, we got another flat, same tire which ruined it.

Continuing the flat story. We got so much assistance from the city, the tire place who called around to neighboring cities and arranged a tire and tube from susanville to come up on a medi vac helicopter that was inbound. Can't say enough about the friendliness and good people in this town! We offered to buy gas for the car and they acted like that was a nicety. We will return!
