October 18, 2024Good folks here at the airfield but the self serve pump didn't operate and hadn't operated for some time. I stopped in for the night and needed to wait on the FBO to open the following morning to get fuel and leave. There's a decent amount of jet traffic here.

July 6, 2024Based out of Slidell and upon return from my last journey from Houston pulled in to get fuel. I read the prior post about not having a ladder. I made note of that and when I looked the step ladder was present along with a short step stool. I have seen the ladder there multiple times so I do not think that is an issue for you high wing aviators. I enjoy basing and flying in and out of Slidell. Just be cautious on weekends as there is a large quantity of parachutes operating.
