July 5, 2026Diverted into here in a C172 and Dan was there to greet me. The fuel truck was inop, though the self serve worked, and Dan jumped in to help before I even asked. Really friendly! Found out this was once a WW2 airfield. The building is newer and looks nice. Showers and bathrooms were clean, plus the pilot lounge has 2 leather couches and vending machines. From the lobby there's a great airfield viewing spot with lots of nice chairs to sit in and watch planes land and take off. Available after hours.

January 24, 2025Fine welcoming airport with good amenities and rather decent Jet A costs. Flew some hunters into the Donalsonville airport but needed to come over here for fuel and transportation. The enterprise in town will deliver cars out here.
