November 17, 2025I had a similar issue with the Rwy lights but a fellow on the ground was able to key them up by clicking slowly 7 times. I suppose this system is sensitive to not clicking the PTT too fast. Never had this problem before but just an FYI for others. Apart from that. Good airport and Hollister Jet Center has top-notch personnel and they will look after you well. The self serve fuel is simple to use and plenty of parking on the ramp if you want to get a meal at the eatery just outside the gate.

October 4, 2025Runway edge, light taxi lights are not functioning as of today November 3, 2025. I attempted several times clicking seven times on the CTAF 123.00. Unless they modify the frequency.

May 12, 2025Enjoyable airport with a good eatery just outside the gate. Active place on the weekend with glider activity often using the crosswind runway, so keep ears on the radio and eyes outside.
