October 7, 2025This was my initial occasion in the locale for a scheduled stop. I cannot express enough praise for Darren and crew. They are truly fine folks and treated my son and I like family. We shall certainly return shortly.

July 27, 2025Had to divert to KDWU for weather. Darren and the rest of the crew really took care of us. Plenty of coffee bananas and they even have Twinkies. Good bunch of guys and a fine airport.

December 28, 2024Enjoyed a wonderful visit on a cross country flight from Cincinnati. The riverside location of the facility makes for a beautiful approach over the river for Rwy 28. Bill at the front desk welcomed us planeside and chocked our plane and gave us a ride to the FBO. We used the crew car to enjoy lunch at Pappy's Cookin' in nearby Flatwoods. Am looking forward to returning shortly and enjoying more of the hospitality of DWU.
