October 8, 2025Davis airport just had a newly paved runway about less than a year ago. PCL LED runway lights that are very easy to observe. The runway is not brown as someone previously mentioned. There is a self service fuel pump on field, along with Davis Air Repair maintenance shop. Avoid flying over the campus east of the field, and the neighborhood north of the field for noise abatement procedures. Note that Yolo County airport is a few miles to the northwest with an active jump zone.

September 18, 2025Cool small airport. Simple to locate transient parking and it was only $5. No gate access needed since there is no gate. Didnt get the opportunity to check if the fuel pumps were operating but I would suggest visiting here for a brief day trip into Davis.

June 12, 2025Landed here to attend my niece's graduation from U. C. Davis. Good landing strip. Visitor parking needs some tlc. Self serve gas and very cordial personnel. Would certainly fly here again.
