June 9, 2025Good airport! This is the ideal starting spot to see Randolph and Tucker Counties. For planes departing IFR the clearance delivery number is 304-842-2011.

July 26, 2024Stopped here on a long cross-US trip after the office was closed. The pumps worked good but no bathrooms were available. The markings on 14-32 had either been removed or faded away completely. But there were no Xs painted on it.

May 16, 2023Great hospitality despite the circumstances! Copilot and I had to divert here because of icing at night. Uber’s, Lyft’s and taxis were not available but we found our way to a hotel with some help from a kind local. I called the FBO in the morning (before they were open) and Stanley had no problem picking us up to bring us back to the airport! Perfect airport with good people, fuel services and fine runways. Night frequency for 23/07 is 122.9! Would definitely stop back if I was in the area again. Thank you!
