Flew here to visit family. I was offered a tiedown in an open "shade" hangar. The FBO office is small but adequate. There were no fees other than the self-serve fuel I bought. Bonanza A36.

I was flying in the Robinson R44 on my way to assist out in NC after the hurricane Hellene. Carrol County's pump was broken so I was compelled to go here. I arrived just as the delivery truck started pumping JP into the tanks. I had to wait one hour. But the gentleman at the desk gave me full service at self serve prices for making me wait. I valued that.

Stopped in for inexpensive fuel for our XC home. (Had sale for EAA traffic.) Fine personnel at FBO. Suggested food nearby if we make this a regular stop on our N/S trips back and forth. They do have a courtesy car available. Hoping to make this our regular 1/2 way point if kids l Ike the food next time.
