June 28, 20253rd journey. Always a fine beach location and favored above Ocracoke. Would prefer to walk across a dune than the, at times, more active 4x4. 12' walk for frozen dairy product. Still have not sampled the deli as it appears shut on Sundays.

September 6, 2024Good spot if you want a day trip to the beach. Just on the far side of the runway. There is a pilot lounge, offers a sofa and AC. No running water and port-a-potties outside. There is a deli within walking distance, but I have not been.

June 22, 2024amazing airport took my plane out on its first trip used the entire time fun Xw with the dunes. Be mindful of kites on approach path had a conversation with them they got mad at me somehow. Be mindful of deer on the runway. Fun note there's a path on the other side of the runway directly to the beach. Loved the trip will come again. Fly safe watch for traffic.
