August 5, 2025Runway is a bit bumpy, fuel doesn't work, but strip is fine to visit to stay at Mather Lodge. No cell service (TMobile), so arrange the shuttle before you arrive there. Mather Lodge is good... Tie downs is a steel cable on an incline... Comanche 260B

June 15, 2025Amazing camping facilities for pilots! Super clean bathroom and shower. Each leveled site (5 total) has water and power. The runway is in fair condition and a little difficult to see until you're on it. Look for the lake. The approach was beautiful. Didn't have service for our T-Mobile devices but AT&T comes in strong. Didn't try the fuel. Lake wasn't fishable due to algae bloom and grass growth. Will return when it's cooler. For camping reservations call: 501-727-5441.

November 23, 2024I had read the comments ahead of time and wanted to state that I thought the runway was just okay and that I had zero problems paying the $25 charge to reach the park. I phoned when I arrived and the lodge manager collected us in the couple minutes that it took me to tie down. I brought my own ropes and utilized on the concrete parking and I had no problems with the incline. Your fuel might drain mainly to one side but that does not harm anything. No wind sock located. Cessna 182A
