May 27, 2024"Little Guy" GA friendly airport, certainly. Very suggested alternative to the large airport. Dropped a passenger at RNO international for a commercial flight and repositioned to Stead for a maintenance issue (no piston mx at Reno). The contrast in handling/facility/security/overnight fees, not to mention avgas cost and taxi delays/difficulty, was striking. Worth the 15-20 minute Uber/ drive to downtown if that is your destination.
