August 15, 2024As of 09/17/2024 ramps and runway construction is finished. Pinnacle Aviation is the FBO, (719) 846-6271. 100LL self serve is accessible. Airport phone number in chart supplement as of this date is for former manager, so disregard. He directed me to the Pinnacle number above.

June 24, 2024We were planning to land here today for a week's stay, but thankfully I called. Major surface renovations proceeding. The runway is now open, but the taxiways are all closed. No method to taxi to the ramp, and no way to obtain fuel. As of today, there is not an associated NOTAM, but hopefully that will change. I was informed to anticipate the ramp to be reachable sometime in August.

Runway 09/27: +3-6 ft bushes on edge both sides alg entre len; soft when wet; prairie dog holes thrut.
Runway 09: +40 ft trees 846 ft from threshold 137 ft right; +4 ft bushes & +3 ft posts wi 100 ft of runway end both sides of centerlines.
Twys have blue/white reflectors at pavement edge.
