Spent a few evenings at this facility. Good small airport if you can find a VFR window to get in, as there’s no IFR approach and the coastal fog socks the field in often. No WX station, but fine ramp and tie down area, and port a potty. No attendance, no troubles or charges. Will return for staying the in the Lincoln, Depoe Bay Area.

Solid coastal airport. Walk down the road, cross the highway and look for the steps up. Side Door Cafe is a good dinner stop!

Fine small airport, good beach day getaway. Trees around the field, winds seem to be little flukey below the tree line. Biplane scenic operation works out of the field on nice days. Look for unpaved steps on the west side of 101, across from the south side of the airport road. These steps give access to the street grid and allow you to avoid walking on 101. Salishack Tavern is a dive with mediocre food. Side Door cafe closed Sunday.
