Quite overgrown with weeds. Left half of RWY 29 specifically has many plants growing up through cracks, although not an issue if you drift a bit right of centerline. Ridge on approach to 29, no issue if you are familiar with a somewhat steeper approach while still making your touchdown spot. Simple enough to follow the river both into 29 and out of 11 for minimum terrain. Not much there, vehicle access paths are unpaved and rutted.

Steelhead Lodge and Motel closed permanently. Motel is now tribe housing. Wine Line Tap Room (old steelhead restaurant) was closed July 4th week end. No tie downs! Some weeds growing thru cracks on the runway. Parking area is very overgrown with berries, vegetation . Dirt road in/out of the airport is also deteriorating.

If you are coming in to fish or just enjoy the area you need to stop by the Willow Line Tap Room. Just over the levy from the runway it's open Fri-Sun and has good lunch and dinner. If you lucky enough to be staying the night you can sample some of their 12 beers on tap. It's about a 5 min walk from the field.
