December 24, 2025Landed here for an overnight stay. 2 Tie down spots available by the fbo and then 5 more on the far side of the runway. There were a few people around, everyone friendly. I'd call before to get the codes to the gate, Michelle and Bob were both very helpful. No landing or tie down fees assessed, they just asked that you buy some fuel. Self-serve fuel was easy enough to manage. Watch out for traffic, had both a plane and a helicopter in the pattern going opposite directions made it tough to enter.

December 7, 2024We flew in on the way back from a cross country. Spoke to Dan and he let us borrow the courtesy car. Traffic pattern was fairly busy, but no issues getting in. We drove to Gettysburg and explored the park for a bit. No problem with the self-serve fuel that was reasonably priced. Everyone was friendly..

September 12, 2024Flew in on a surprisingly quiet Sunday afternoon with my father for a quick battlefield visit. Airport was unattended but clearly very well maintained. Borrowed the airport car and made it to The Angle for some very meaningful reflection. I can't thank Blouch Aircraft Services enough for making my first real journey as a private pilot as smooth as it was. I'll certainly return to W05.
