Amazing FBO the staff is on top of their game. Closed on Sundays but fuel and ramp access is 24/7.

The most awful experience. This FBO stinks; if you land after 6 pm (God forbid) you are in for a treat!!! We landed around 6:30 on a Friday about a month ago. The FBO was closed, nobody answered the phones, there was no one at the airport, there were no Ubers, taxis, Lyft, nothing. I was basically stuck for almost 4 hours with my wife, 2 young daughters, and our pilot; we didn’t know what to do. There was also very bad phone reception so we had a very hard time even making calls. The local Enterprise is the worst I’ve ever encountered. They were supposed to leave the car at the airport for me to have transportation, and they simply didn’t do it. Basically I had the same experience than the gentleman in the previous comment made, except that I wasn’t fortunate enough to get a hold of anyone. After about 4 hours waiting for someone to help us , we decided to call 911 to have the police come and get us. It was a horrible experience. I’ll never fly to this airport ever again, and I suggest you don’t either. On the positive side, Ellijay and Blue Ridge are absolutely beautiful.

This is a good small facility right in the middle of the apple capital of the world. Sadly, there’s no crew car whatsoever. Not a used worn out police cruiser or even a poor facility work truck. Zero. The single fellow we were able to reach for transport charged $30 to go 2 miles and he waited for us for 30 minutes at the apple barns. Panorama and Penland’s are fine apple barns for lots of apple cider, apple fritters, and other sweet goodies. There’s only one other person who is on Uber and Lyft but he’s not dependable. Maybe he’ll be working and drop you off and then you’ll call him and he won’t answer his phone to collect you. We actually had to hitchhike back to the facility one occasion. Ensure you have ground transport arranged before touching down here and spending your cash at the local shops and eateries. Billy C.
