What could be a fun sky park to visit is unluckily not the situation because of an unfriendly area. Be ready to have your aeronautical decision making assessed by grumpy people on golf carts with handheld radios. Exiting the plane was no better. Having the neighborhood driving by you staring at you and ignoring your wave certainly does not contribute to a warm welcome.

Flew to E79 and parked on the ramp for 4 nights. Paid 5 dollars per day for their requested tie down fee. Two days in, my family that I was visiting wanted to go for a quick scenic flight. During my preflight I found that someone defaced my RV-10 by slapping an “Eff Joe Biden” sticker on my elevator. Boy, did I do the most thorough preflight after finding that. Beware vandals at this airport. No cameras. One resident seemed very concerned and I appreciated that. Two other residents acted like I was wasting their time. Glad I had locking gas caps.
