On a flight to Winamac I encountered severe icing and had a missed approach into the airport. After being directed by ATC to airport with better weather I encountered more icing and a low fuel situation after five hours of flying, I was forced to the ground by ice and low fuel and landed at KREO. Google map the airport! (it will make more sense) After help from the Oregon department of aviation they put me in contact with Burns municipal airport. Walt and Pat Sitz drove Two hours delivered a load of 100LL. I flew on to the Burns airport and waited the two hours for their return to settle up my account. Walt and Pat are the epitome of the good aviation community. Their kindness and generosity will make for fine memories of my trip across United States from Ohio.
