PSA is excellent! We spent 3 nights here at Concord, then returned for 2 more. It’s a great airport for checking out nearby attractions, including a Golden Gate Bridge tour. The airport uses the Napa County TAF, which appeared to show low cloud layers. MOS was quite accurate. Easy arrival and departure. The Tower and Travis approach controllers were terrific.

Friendly controllers, PSA linemen were good and helpful after hours. Expect 19R after dark even with a tailwind. Busy training traffic during the day.

I had to divert to KCCR due to weather. Avery at the Pacific States Aviation FBO was very useful and quick to reply to my needs. The facilities are well kept and provide a fine place to rest and flight plan. Go Rentals called ahead of my arrival and had my reservation ready without any input from me. Altogether a superb experience. Pilot - geotheo22
