Phoenix Deer Valley (KDVT)

A few taxiways between the runways still aren't shown on the airport diagram. Make sure you review the taxiway NOTAMs. Cutter is a fantastic option compared with anything at Scottsdale. We were looking for hangar space for our Cessna 140 so the fabric wings would stay clear of incoming storms, and Cutter put it in the hangar for us, offered a really good rate, and waived the fees despite us not buying fuel. The FBO is within walking distance of a restaurant that has nice ramp and runway views.

We came from Boise to Dear Valley Airport for our daughter's doctorate commencement ceremony. When they asked what had brought us to the Phoenix area, I proudly explained the reason for our trip. From the rental car assistance to helping with our luggage, their service was impeccable. To make it even better, they gave my daughter a thoughtful card signed by everyone. Took the Bonanza up to Payson for breakfast, came back, and of course the deer Valley tower and ground controllers are wonderful. I was number four in line for landing. Plenty of spacing. Good controllers, beautiful day here in Phoenix, just can't say how much I like the tower ops there at the deer Valley airport.
