Really nice airport. Even though its a class c, getting in or out has been pretty easy during the couple of visits I've made. Monterey Jet Center is an outstanding facility and the staff are great. I recommend grabbing the crew car and heading to carmel for lunch, its very pretty.

Monterey is an excellent, welcoming airport. It sees plenty of airline and private-jet activity, yet the controllers are first-rate and very helpful with GA traffic. Del Monte Aviation also treats the GA folks really well-they offer handy parking right by the FBO, while easy-to-reach self-serve fuel is available on the other side of the field.

Flew in today for lunch and parked at Delmonte. The staff were the friendliest we've ever met. We biked into town for lunch, then came back to free water and coffee. They even offered us ice cream, but we passed so we wouldn't get sleepy in the air... And there was no charge for anything!
