September 25, 2023I understand that Martin State was originally known as the Glen L Martin Army Air Force Airbase, and was the site of the assembly of the B-25 Martin Marauders in the early days of WWII. My dad was stationed here in 1941. Plans and initial training for the April 1942 Doolittle “30 Minute over Tokyo” began here. Harry Lerch
