Low country Regional FBO is a welcoming group of professionals. We stopped in to make a maintenance appointment with Swamp Fox Avionics and even though we did not purchase any fuel they supply a courtesy car and lunch suggestion then gave us a golf cart ride to the shop for our appointment. Very courteous and helpful Personnel. We appreciated them treating us like VIPs.

Walterboro used to be a good north/south fuel stop. Now there is new management, new charges, greater fuel costs. Fine recipe for killing general aviation.

Not impressed. Transient parking full, no marshals, no response on Unicom asking where to park. Terminal was newish and fine but none of the airport staff even asked if we needed assistance, fuel, water, etc. Just didn't seem like they cared much about anything. Sorry we picked KRBW for Pilots-n-paws handoff. Looks like there's a smaller FBO also on the field besides the city run one. If we ever have to land there again we'll try Lowcountry Aviation.
