November 20, 2025Flew in to ROA yesterday on an angel flight. Signature Aviation was superb! Everybody was extremely kind and helpful. Strongly suggest them. ATC was very good too. Especially thinking about the government shutdown.

August 4, 2025An update on my prior post about excessive charges at Signature FBO at ROA. I spoke to the FBO manager about what I considered high charges for a SE GA airplane. He did not appear to care and when I told him that I was submitting a complaint with AOPA. His remark was "good luck" and disconnected. Left a message with ROA airport manager but never got a call back. Cannot suggest GA flying into ROA, BCB airport is only a 30 minute drive to Roanoke and is much more GA friendly.

June 19, 2025Diverted to ROA due to BCB (Blacksburg/VT) airport below published IFR minimums. Signature staff friendly but was charged $38 to park a Piper Arrow for 1 1/2 hours until the fog lifted at BCB. This is outrageous for a single engine aircraft, but that's Signature Aviation attitude towards GA.
