July 17, 2024My preferred spot to dine in the vicinity is Kanika's. It is truly fine Thai food. Kanika's food truck is in fact nearer to the Ontario airport but I do not think they offer a courtesy car. It is opposite a truck stop. Discussing with the truckers, it is generally recognized as some of the finest cuisine in the region. Address: 1030 NW Washington Ave, Ontario, OR 97914. I would estimate it is around a 15 minute journey from the Payette airport. Melanie S.

June 20, 2024Airport manager sent an email to local pilots informing us that the point of sale terminal is intermittently not working AND fire fighting operations will be based out of Payette for a duration of time. Concerning the point of sale terminal: the vendor has been notified and is working on diagnosing and fixing. It seems like there might be a solution. If you are landing for fuel and the terminal isn't functioning then call the airport manager.

March 31, 2024Stopped here for gas on our route from Cavenaugh Bay to Garden Valley. Fine standard airport. Affordable fuel and tidy facilities.
