I was departing last evening around 11:30p, went to turn on the runway edge lighting only to discover they were NOT working. Plainly a big risk particularly for those landing in dim light conditions.

The pilot shack is West of the T-hangars that are nearest the 28 departure. Getting the courtesy call was quite simple. The courtesy car is parked right beside the pilot shack. To park your plane, you must taxi behind the same T-hangars. You might be able to tie down your plane very close to the courtesy car. We love visiting 4th Street Fusion Cafe for their donuts and kolaches. Being able to fly in and out is a certain advantage!

It’s slap in the middle of a municipal golf course! Hahaha! It’s awesome! We parked the plane right in front of the little restaurant/golf shack and enjoyed the patio and watched folks pass through as they played. Super friendly, fun little airport.
