July 24, 2025Scenic airport nestled beside a mountain lake. Runway 02 has a fine approach over the lake and slopes upward. Sparse grass was about 7" tall and surface smooth. Good camping beside aircraft in east tie down area. Walkable to hiking trails. AT&T two bars at tie downs. No water. Toilets disgusting. No walkable stores or eateries. Carefully check NOTAM for closures.
