November 27, 2025Flew there in a R44 helicopter to get some PHO at PHO Century. There are two helipads for GA use at the south east side of the field next to the hangars. Do not park in transient parking if pads are available. There's a fine restaurant on the south side of the field. Make certain you have either Ontario or Brackett freq ready on your way out and observe pattern and noise abatement rules.

November 20, 2025Really neat small airport. Flew here in a 172 to check out the cafe which I suggest. Be sure to review the noise abatement and suggested pattern entry details on the web page. I arrived from the south under the Charlie shelf between the delta and the Charlie on the ground which places you right where you need to be to join left downwind for 24 (which is typically the active). Fuel is on the northwest side of the runway.

June 15, 2025Use caution. Many students and airmen using improper radio communication and implementing incorrect pattern operations. Can be dangerous and quite busy. Class C to NE-SW and Class D to the west. Use Cable Unicom for radio checks (Part-time) No intersection departures RWY 24/6 No touch and goes Rwy 6 South run up area can get busy-consider north area. Easy to blast picnic bench with prop-wash. Heed caution Foothill aircraft MX go above and beyond when aircraft are AOG.
