December 8, 2025Only 5 transient parking spots now. There used to be many in front of the tower, I enjoyed visiting here for lunch, but they repaved the apron between the tower and Atlantic and took away a whole row of parking. It almost seems like they do not want us present. Jet center is the most affordable for the little guys, $25... I suppose if you come here the $100 hamburger is now $125. Or be one of the fortunate few that secure a spot Estin J. Cessna 182

December 7, 2025Good small airport. Very active traffic pattern. When departing they wanted me to decide whether I'd depart on a left or right crosswind. So I suppose it's your selection.

APT Lighting Schedule: When atct closed actvt hirl runway 06/24, papi runways 06 & 24, malsr runway 24 - CTAF.
ARFF Certification: Closed to air carrier opns with more than 9 passenger seats from 2230 to 0600 except by ppr call amgr 760-431-4646.
Designated Customs Landing: Us customs user fee airport.
Extensive bird activity in vicinity especially in spring.
For cd when atct closed contact socal approach at 800-448-3724.
Ltd transient tie down space on public ramp.
Military has Landing Rights: Ppr only - no mil trng - contract military only.
Multiple apchs by large aircraft (including large hel) not authorized.
