Controllers are very pleasant and work you in between commercial planes landing. On arrival, it is helpful to maintain your speed up. Departure is very simple and similar experience. Expect a departure procedure if IFR and receive it upon obtaining your clearance. GA planes will be turned out of the departure path of commercial carriers. I will use KMCO every time I find myself landing in the locale.

Good controllers, very accommodating for a Piper Cherokee! Gave TRACON a call and made a game plan. Simple arrival and simple departure during the morning push.

Beech Baron - When deciding between Executive and Intl, the comments here persuaded me to give KMCO a try because of its closeness to Disney. Received an approach with a very out of the way transition, but Jax Center was able to give me a little bit of a shortcut later. On approach, controller used a 360-degree spacing turn to slot me in between some very busy airliner traffic inbound for NYE. Signature staff very cordial. Richard L.
