May 13, 2025MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) The airport personnel, from the manager down did a fine job of facilitating our visit and providing an ideal parking spot for our Kodiak 100 aircraft. We had about 500 pounds of gear that went needed to store while we had our event and gave some rides to students from Charleston Southern University. The airport staff were very helpful. Allen and Mark helped us unload, store the gear and then the next day helped us reload and fuel. Beautiful airport

April 9, 2025Stopped in at Moncks Corner to visit a client and this airport supporting Berkeley County is ideal. Courtesy car usage has a hard limit of 2hrs, do not attempt to ask for anything longer. Fuel pricing was $2+/gal less expensive than Charleston so it was an encouraging stop. Flight School for the airport has substantial traffic so be ready to work yourself into the pattern if arriving from outside the area.

March 4, 2025Spent an overnight at MKS only to discover my tailwheel flat the following morning. I strongly suggest Mid-Coast Aviation on the field for your upkeep requirements. They got the plane fixed up on brief notice. Shall visit again!
