June 20, 2025A gem for GA pilots. The runway 07 approach is spectacular, with sweeping views of downtown St. Pete and the marina. The departure off runway 36 offered a stunning climb-out over the water. ATC was professional, clear, and incredibly friendly throughout our arrival and departure. They handle both training traffic and transients with ease and courtesy. Close proximity to amazing attractions like the Dali Museum and the St. Pete Pier, you’ve got the perfect destination for a day trip.

June 2, 2025Flew in for upkeep. Tower was helpful and courteous. They did mention to others while listening that they have been short-staffed lately.Perhaps that's why they seem "rude or short" at times. Self serve fuel is still inop as of 05/30/2025. Shelt-Air will come fill you up there however. Fun and beautiful to fly into and Good Restaurant.
