Dropped in for an overnight stay last week! The airport and pattern were CRAZY busy! I did my PPL training here years back, so I knew what to expect, but it could definitely catch you off guard on your first visit. Lots of transient parking available, though there is no self serve. I had aero air top off the plane before heading out the next morning! Super easy and very accommodating!

Had to make a precautionary landing due to an MP issue. Controllers were helpful and directed me to Northwest Aircraft Maintenance. Rian was helpful, inspected and got me on my way within a couple of hours. Good experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thank you Rian

Beautiful airport, welcoming ATC, superb location. Hillsboro Aviation was a joy with quite fine facilities and very supportive personnel. Isnt it wonderful when your rental car is driven right up to your plane?! If youre headed west by vehicle stop in Gales Creek and check out Smokehouse Chicken and Guns. A new eatery that that amazed my thoughts. They also have a food cart in Portland, but the restaurant is a must see.
