Good airport. There is ample transient parking. Vista Aviation is awesome. I had a dead battery. They were eager to assist and get me on my way. Came right away and gave me a jump and I was on my way home. Very helpful.

Of the four 100L pumps, only pump #4 worked. Like a prior commenter mentioned, the fuel comes out at the pace of a turtle. I believe this facility is in need of some city funding. I approached the airport from the south and contacted Burbank to transition thru their Charlie. Burbank was super simple to deal with and they sent me right to WHP tower.

I've been flying utility helicopters for a decade. This is the least accommodating airport to helicopter operations I've ever been around. Park you a half a mile away from everything. There isn't really an FBO and the airport manager can't be bothered to assist you. No one offers you a ride in the 100 degree heat and they won't fuel support trucks. Recommend avoiding. Burbank or van nuys seem to be slightly better choices.
