July 12, 2026My usual choice for Chicago trips in an SEP. It’s busy, has the best forward speed, all that. Come prepared and bring your A game. I parked at Atlantic; fees were reasonable, fuel was pricey, but still worth it. The L train is easy to reach and gets you into the Loop in about 30 minutes. Plan on ATC reroutes coming in. South Bend issued me an arrival that Chicago promptly took me off.

August 28, 2025Stopped by for an Angel Flight in C182. Controllers were very accommodating. Signature waived all charges and even let me borrow the crew car. Really good airport so close to Chicago downtown!

April 2, 2025Flew to MDW for a quick meeting downtown. Obviously a busy class C, but surprisingly GA friendly at Signature. Simple in, simple out, and fairly priced. Runways and taxiways are placed closely together... have ForeFlight up or request a progressive taxi.
